Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Day is second only to Christmas in the West, representing gratitude and reunion. The American Thanksgiving Day is held on the fourth Thursday of November, while the Canadian Thanksgiving Day is held on the second Monday of October of each year.
Thanksgiving originated in the United States as a celebration to help the Americans through. The American people were in danger, and it was the Indians who helped them through it.
At first, the American people celebrate Thanksgiving Day with two meanings: one is the devout thanks to God for the past year, so that the banker can harvest; the other is the heartfelt thanks to the hard-working and kind indigenous people for their help to save their lives.
And now the meaning of Thanksgiving Day is to let us learn to be grateful, learn to cherish, learn to tolerate and understand. This is the wealth that life really gives to us.
